Theatre Practitioner - Scrub - Orthopaedics (Bank), Oxford

Theatre Practitioner / ODP (RGN / ODP) – Oxford Manor Hospital (Nuffield Health), nursing, bank contract – ad hoc £29.50 per hour. Applicant must be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).

The position is based at Oxford Manor Hospital, a modern facility in Oxford with multiple operating theatres and a range of surgical specialties.

• Be part of a close‑knitted multidisciplinary team.
• Work with leading consultants and other professionals.
• Handle a varied caseload using state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior staff members.
• Deliver high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.
• Interact well with colleagues on the ward and within the department; maintain continuity in patient care.

• Vast post‑registration experience in orthopaedic, ENT or ophthalmic scrub/SFA work.
• Experience working within transitional specialties to support varying departmental needs.
• Specific qualifications and experience relevant to registration (NMC or HCPC).
• Additional courses pertaining to skillset.
• Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork ability.
• Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays.
