What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory social work support
• Undertake child and family assessments in line with statutory guidelines
• Develop and reviewChild in Need (CIN)andChild Protection (CP)plans
• Identify and manage risks to ensure children are safeguarded from harm
• Participate in child protection conferences, core groups, and multi-agency meetings

Person specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent inSocial Work

Registration&Compliance:

• Registration withSocial Work England

Key Skills:

• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively within amulti-agency environment
• Strong communication and case management skills

Experience:

• Post-qualification experienceinchildren's social care
• Experience in cases involvingCIN,Child Protection, orsafeguarding
• Experience managingcomplex caseloadsand contributing tomulti-agency partnerships
