HLTA Part Time, Poole

Prerequisite: HLTA - required for PPA cover (Part time considered).

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support and PPA Cover within an SEN School in Bournemouth.

• Teaching & Learning: Delivering high-quality lessons across different classes/year groups as needed.
• Planning: Preparing lessons and resources in line with school policies, often in collaboration with class teachers.
• Assessment & Recording: Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil development, progress, and attainment.
• Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive, safe, and productive learning environment, including managing student behaviour.
• Support: Providing feedback to class teachers on student progress after sessions.
• Specialism: Often managing a specialist area, such as PE, Music, or Art, across the school.
