Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a global law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Associate to join their Corporate M&A team based in the Tampa, FL area.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Overseeing the planning, negotiating, and execution of M&A deals from start to finish.
• Acting as a client's main point of contact and offering legal, strategic, and commercial advice.
• Overseeing and guiding paralegals and junior associates throughout the whole deal-making process.
• Coordinating with experts in finance, tax, regulation, and intellectual property to handle challenging transactional problems.
• Drafting primary transaction agreements and managing crucial talks.
• Handling post-closing concerns, such as integration problems, purchase price changes, and dispute settlement.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE 

• J.D. from a recognized legal education institution.
• Outstanding academic background.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• 6–8+ years of corporate transactional expertise at a top law firm, with an emphasis on M&A.
• Shown capacity to oversee all aspects of a transaction on their own.
