Vehicle Technician, BristolBox Makers Yard

Our client, a reputable independent family-run garage located in Central Bristol, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals looking to further their career within a well-established workshop environment.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct fault diagnosis, routine servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Ensure all work is completed to the high standards set by the employer
• Accurately diagnose faults and communicate vehicle conditions regarding safety, reliability, and performance to the Service Manager
• Maintain health and safety standards and adhere to quality procedures as aVehicle Technician
• Occasionally assist at the front desk with booking vehicles in/out and responding to customer inquiries
• Keep up-to-date with technical procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum)
• 2-3 years' post-qualification technical experience preferred
• Alternatively, time-served Vehicle Technicians with strong practical skills without formal qualifications will be considered
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Ability to produce high-quality work consistently in a busy workshop
• Motivated team player committed to achieving targets
• An active MOT licence or specialisation in diesel, hybrid, or electric vehicles is advantageous but not essential
