Stores Operative, Poole

Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based near Poole, is currently seeking an experienced Stores Operative to join their busy team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and organised individual with previous warehouse or stores experience to secure a long‑term position within a growing engineering business.

• Receiving, inspecting, and booking in deliveries
• Picking and issuing materials to production teams
• Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
• Packing and preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely
• Ensuring the stores area remains clean and organised
• Using internal stock management systems

• Previous experience within stores, warehouse, or goods‑in environments
• Engineering or manufacturing background advantageous
• Good IT and numerical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced environment
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential

This role is a permanent opportunity and the hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm and the role is paying £26-£27k per annum.
