Warehouse Supervisor, ThetfordThetford

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Thetford. Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a supervisory role within a busy and dynamic environment.

• Supervise the loading and unloading of lorries, ensuring goods are packaged and secured correctly
• Optimise loads for maximum space and weight efficiency
• Count, check, and sign off goods in and out
• Prioritise workloads in line with delivery and production schedules
• Liaise with Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, and Production Planning teams to ensure order accuracy
• Coordinate with delivery drivers, providing paperwork, itineraries, tools, and instructions
• Maintain security of lorries, keys, and the dispatch area
• Uphold Health & Safety standards, ensuring fire exits and workspaces are kept clear
• Assist with additional Warehouse and Production duties as required

• Previous warehouse or supervisory experience preferred but not essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
• Own transport is essential due to location
