Class 2 Drivers in Lutterworth, LutterworthMisterton

Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established client based in Lutterworth.

We are looking for motivated drivers to join a busy transport operation offering ongoing work, flexible shifts and competitive pay rates.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

Class 2 Days: £15.11 per hour
Class 2 Nights: £16.92 per hour

Holiday pay accrued in addition to hourly rates.

Available Shifts:

Twilight Shifts

• 17:00 starts.
• Sunday to Friday – approximately 8 hours.
• Saturday – approximately 6 hours.

PM Shifts

• 20:00 – 23:59 starts.
• Sundays, Tuesday to Friday.
• Approximately 8–10 hours.

AM Shifts

• 04:00 – 06:00 starts.
• Sundays only.
• Approximately 6–8 hours.

Job Role

• HGV Class 2 parcel deliveries to Delivery Units.
• Manual loading using a pump truck.
• Offloading using a tail lift.
• Local deliveries only.
• Typically 3–4 deliveries per shift.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring safe and professional vehicle operation at all times.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 3 months Class 2 driving experience.
• Maximum 3 penalty points on licence.
• No endorsements: DG, DR, DD, CD or BA.
• Good communication and professional attitude.
