Electrical Installation Engineer / Electrical Installation Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading pump service provider.

The Electrical Installation Engineer / Electrical Installation Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineerwill be responsible for the electrcal installation, servicing, and repair of industrial pumps primarily within the wastewater industry, including submersible pumps, booster systems and pumps, drainage pumps, control panels, and associated control systems.

The Electrical Installation Engineer / Electrical Installation Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have experience with Electrical installation and maintenance of pumps and related components such as booster sets, three-phase electrics, variable speed drives, control panels and wiring, level / flow sensors, level control systems, electric motors of compressors or rotating machinery, or any related electrical installation work.

Electrical Installation Engineer / Electrical Installation Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role

• To be responsible for the electrcal installation, servicing, and repair of industrial pumps primarily within the wastewater industry, including submersible pumps, booster systems and pumps, drainage pumps, control panels, and associated control systems.
• Install electrical panels and pumps both at the depot and on customer sites, including wiring, connecting, testing, and calibrating systems.
• Collaborate on mechanical aspects of installations such as pipework assembly, kit loading/unloading, and on-site support.
• Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently to minimise downtime, including working with three-phase motors and variable speed drives.
• Maintain accurate logs of work completed, installations, repairs, and servicing.
• Liaise with clients to ensure installations and repairs meet operational and safety expectations

Electrical Installation Engineer / Electrical Installation Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements

• Will ideally have experience with Electrical installation and maintenance of pumps and related components such as booster sets, three-phase electrics, variable speed drives, control panels and wiring, level / flow sensors, level control systems, electric motors of compressors or rotating machinery, or any related electrical installation work.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, Service Engineer, Pump Engineer, Electrical Pump Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Water Treatment Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Installation Electrician
• Hold a valid JIB Gold card, or ECS Gold Card, or an alternative is essential
• Hands-on experience with submersible pumps, especially Flygt, Tsurumi, and Grundfos, is beneficial
• Experience with Three-phase electrics is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent is a benefit, but not essential
• Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations and Health & Safety standards is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
