Supply Chain Accountant - Permanent Opportunity Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (Depending on Experience) Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire        Are you a fully qualified accountant? Do you have a manufacturing background?  Key Responsibilities and Duties Member of the Business Support Accounting team responsible for the reporting of Variable Costs including Freight for Peterborough Month end financial close including journal preparation, cost allocations and associated trend analysis Support annual business planning and forecasting cycles for Supply Chain Act as Business Partner to the Supply Chain leadership team in the completion of value-add cost reporting and KPIs, including monthly presentation Completion of monthly corporate reporting requirements Measurement of key operational performance metrics for inclusion in the monthly business unit scorecard Annual Transfer Pricing Ad-hoc project work Qualifications and Experience required for the Process & Business Partner Accountant role Essential Educated to a degree level or qualified by experience Professional certification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) Previous experience in Supply Chain is desirable, but not essential Effective communication skills at multiple levels Strong organisational and project management skills Initiative and innovation - ability to fit into a dynamic and fast moving Accounting team.
