Management Accountant, Peterborough

This opportunity is to be based within the central head office in Peterborough, working with a large team. This role needs someone who is able to hit the ground running and can work independently.  Pinnacle to this role is the ability to build relationships quickly and have a clear knowledge of budgets, forecasts and monthly management accountants. Main Responsibilities.  Assist with all aspects of budgets (in liaison with the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner), financial forecasts and business planning process to ensure prepared on a timely basis and accuracy of those documents. Produce the monthly management accounts and termly summaries in conjunction with the Senior Management Accountant, for specific groups, along with monthly summaries. Monitoring whether the most efficient and cost-effective use is made of resources, ensuring that minimal outlay is expended for maximum benefit. Monitoring  financial practices to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
