Senior .NET Developer, Oundle

My client is an established e-commerce business that is looking for an experienced, Senior .NET Developer to join an existing development team. This is a full-time, permanent role to be worked in my client?s office on the outskirts of Peterborough. Role responsibilities: * Mentor junior members of the team, helping them to improve their skills and encourage good development methodologies whilst promoting a collaborative environment * Work within a team to develop and maintain the company?s e-commerce website. Enhance and improve business-critical CMS and in-house applications. Provide support to internal users and external customers * Develop and implement new software applications, either individually or with other members of the team * Maintain existing applications, making improvements where necessary to enhance the functionality * Work closely with all other departments within the organisation * Use the latest tools and technologies to provide the best experience for their customers * Be reactive to changing priorities and demands within the business Essential requirements: * Proven knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JavaScript and CSS * OOP design principles * Database design and development using MS SQL Server and T-SQL * Entity Framework * Agile methodologies * Git (preferably GitLab) * Angular, TypeScript, SASS, jQuery * Writing unit tests * Xamarin, iOS and/or Android app development would be desirable * Source Control, DevOps, Jenkins and continuous integration For the right candidate my client is offering a fantastic package: * Competitive base salary up to £45k per annum depending on experience * Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm * Office based role with free parking * 22 days holiday rising to 25 days plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Health care and life assurance schemes * Stable, secure employment * Plus a host of other benefits to be discussed at interview stage This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing team of professionals.
