School Cleaner Taskmaster are currently recruiting for School Cleaners for a well-established private boarding school. The main duties of the successful candidate are as follows: * Cleaning all areas of the Boarding Houses and School buildings including private accommodation and communal areas. * Using and correctly storing appropriate cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations and as directed. * To launder items as instructed taking not of each care label. * The assisting of collections, deliveries and storage of laundry throughout the School. * Sewing to an acceptable standard when required ? including name tapes, badges, repairs and minor tailoring. * Suitable candidates MUST respect pupils? privacy and possessions in accordance with School guidelines and Protocols. * The adherence of all procedures and protocols as instructed by the Line Manager, e.g. use of mobile telephones, wearing of appropriate uniform and shoes. Suitable candidate specification Suitable candidates must be confident with both their written and spoken English skills, have the ability to work not only as an individual but as a supportive team, be able to follow clear instructions whilst being reliable, personable, hardworking and conscientious. The role will require the occasional need for some heavy lifting, for example beds and small furniture. The position may also require the use of step ladders. Recent experience with both Laundry and Domestic duties are desirable but not essential. The suitable candidate must hold a full, clean driving license and have access to their own transport The Position is due to commence in September 2020 with example working hours are listed below: Role 1 ? 6:30am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, and 7:30am-12:30pm Sunday. 41.4 working weeks per annum. Salary £16,399. Role 2 ? 6:30am-12:30pm Monday-Friday, and 7:30am-12:30pm Saturday. 41.4 working weeks per annum. Salary £14,349. Role 3 ? 9:00am-12:30pm Monday-Friday. 36.4 working weeks per annum. Salary £6,307. Role 4 ? 4:30pm-8:00pm Monday-Friday. 36.4 working weeks per annum. Salary £6,307.
