Tax Accountant, Plymouth

We are recruiting fro a Tax Accountant who is looking for a Business Partnership opportunity. Our client is a busy Accountancy firm based in Plymouth, they have a strong client portfolio and they are looking for a candidate to join the team to manage the existing clients and also build the clientbase too.   This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Tax Accountant who is ready to progress.  We are looking to recruit an accountant with experience of working in a practice environment, and preparing company accounts and tax returns. If you're the right person for us, you'll also: Have in-depth knowledge of VAT, dealing with corporate taxes and self assessments etc.. Be used to dealing with HMRC and their systems (other responsibilities will include registering clients for taxes) Able to deal with adhoc accounting and tax questions that arise Ideally AAT 4 qualified Will consider candidates who are ACA or ACCA qualified. Ideally you'll be part-qualified, but candidates with extensive experience who are not part-qualified will also be considered.
