Web Developer, Plymouth

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join a Website Development team for a dynamic digital marketing company based in central Plymouth. Our client is a rapidly growing company with a fast-paced working environment. The suitable applicant will be able to manage their own time and workload effectively and be able to deliver projects in a timely fashion. Requirements: - Experience in WordPress is essential - Commercial hands-on knowledge of Front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, SASS, Javascript - Server Management & FTP knowledge - Some PHP knowledge would be a big advantage - Have knowledge of optimising website front-end load times, PWA & AMP. - Experience with client engagement and management preferred - Experience of implementing responsive & adaptive websites for all devices, understanding cross-browser/cross-platform issues that occur - Knowledge/experience of working with commercial e-commerce systems preferred (Woocommerce mainly) - Knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign etc) would be advantageous. Skills: - Must be punctual - A motivated individual that is able to work alone and within a team - Be creative and proactive - Able to make concise decisions - Committed to the customers and the business The salary is negotiable depending on experience with a 3 month probation period.
