Staff Nurse (Rgn Rmn Rnld), Tavistock

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to work days to join our multidisciplinary team and nursing team based in Tavistock, Devon. You will be working within a specialist dementia service dedicated to providing Residential and Nursing Care for the elderly. Key Responsibilities but not restricted too: * Assist Manager in the smooth running of 24 hour nursing care within the home * Organise and assist in the care of the service users physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home * Assist with the Quality Assurance within the home and continuous standards of nursing care * Ensure all service users have a full care plan pathway in accordance with relevant standards * Ensure risk assessments are adhered to and incorporated into care plans * Act as a primary nurse for the service users you support by assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating nursing care * Administer medicines and check that service users are taking them * Maintain and update patients Care Plans and Charts, observing changes in service users conditions * Liaise with health professionals i.e. doctors, specialists and social workers Successful Candidates * Valid NMC Pin Number * A full understanding of person centered care planning processes * Clear understanding of Dementia * Excellent communication skills, empathy, team player Salary for this role is £35,568 which equates to £19 per hour based on 36 hour contact, shift times are 7am-7pm.
