Housekeeping Assistant, Plymouth

Location: Saltash, Cornwall

Job Type: Part Time / Full Time

Shifts: Between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm (may vary: 8:00 am‑2:00 pm, 10:00 am‑2:00 pm, 2:00 pm‑7:00 pm). Weekend work required on a rota basis during high season.

About the role: We are seeking talented, passionate and efficient housekeeping assistants aged 18+ who can deliver exceptional cleaning standards and thrive in a busy, diverse environment.

Responsibilities: Keep the estate’s accommodation clean and presentable, support team members, and follow the estate’s high standards of housekeeping.

Requirements / Experience:

• Appropriate experience in a similar role
• Good communication skills
• Strong team ethic
• Willingness to learn

Preferred Background:

• Knowledge of accommodation housekeeping operations
• Experience in 4‑ or 5‑star market
• Experience working in a high‑volume environment

• Aged 18+ due to lone working across the estate
• Driven to deliver exceptional standards and overall success
• Proactive and ready for a fresh challenge

Salary: £10.00 – £12.21 per hour, depending on age (minimum wage compliant)

Location: Within St Mellion Estates, Cornwall

Work Authorisation: United Kingdom (preferred/required)
