The position required: Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: Plymouth, Devon

Position start date: 20/07/2026 (Flexible by a few days)

Requirements: Part-time nanny

Duties: Nursery duties, Cooking meals, General tidying

Nanny responsibility: The nanny will have a mixture of sole and shared charge

Preferred nanny attributes: Childcare qualifications, Ofsted registration, Childcare experience, DBS, Paediatric first aid training

Nanny duties and expectations

• Collecting two younger children from school and nursery
• Preparing evening meal and clearing up
• Encouraging children to do homework/music practice
• Some cleaning/housework

Days and hours required

Days of work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Monday: 3pm- 8pm

Tuesday: 3pm- 8pm

Wednesday: 3pm- 8pm

Thursday: 3pm- 8pm

Friday: 3pm- 8pm

Variation in hours: The hours remain the same all year round

Child 1: Male, Age: 12, attends Secondary School, Special needs: None, Medical/allergies: None, Further details: Friendly and intelligent boy who is usually happy to entertain himself or get on with activities. He will need encouragement to do his homework and music practice in the evenings.

Child 2: Female, Age: 7, attends Primary School, Special needs: None, Medical/allergies: Nut allergy, Further details: Sociable girl who likes gymnastics, cycling and being outside. She is kind and good with her siblings.

Child 3: Male, Age: 3, attends pre-School, Special needs: None, Medical/allergies: None, Further details: Energetic and loves playing with his brother and sister. He likes outdoor activities especially with balls and also likes helping out in the kitchen with cooking activities.
