What you will do

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of need and risk, ensuring any safeguarding concerns are promptly identified and addressed.
• Support women and families through recovery-focused interventions, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed practice.
• Develop and implement support and safety plans designed to promote stability and independence for those you are working with.
• Work collaboratively with children's services, probation, health services, and other agencies to deliver a cohesive support structure.

Person Specification
Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent).
• Evidence of continued professional development to ensure best practice.

Registration&Compliance

• You must be registered with Social Work England.
• Knowledge of essential frameworks, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and Safeguarding Adults procedures is crucial.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
