Class 2 Hiab Driver, Pontefract

Our client are looking for a Class 2 HIAB driver to join their home delivery team for their customers atWickes Pontefract . You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multidrop and direct delivery of our customers products.This is a temp position for their peak period ending approx 26/09/2026, however, may be full-time for the right person . You will be starting at 7am, Monday to Friday, with additional Saturdays during the 10-week peak period which will be completed VIA a rota. You will be based at the home store but collecting&delivering out of surrounding area's and stores. Successful candidates with be required to pass a DBS search What youll do on a typical day: You will typically complete an average of 5-10 deliveries per day Delivering bulk items to customers homes using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes storesAdhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business Providing excellent face to face customer service to customer What you need to succeed: A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlementBe in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage Have a positive, flexible attitude toward work and be a reliable timekeeper with the ability to work independently HIAB licence ALLMI C5 Licence - conversions and refreshers provided GXO funded alongside a training agreement.Interested, then apply now as only 1 position available TPBN1_UKTJ
