Job Description Join Our Team at the Marie Curie Glasgow HospiceAre you passionate about making a difference in your community? We are looking for compassionate and reliable Volunteer Drivers to join our dedicated hospice team in Glasgow. As a Volunteer Patient Driver, you'll play a vital role in helping patients access the care they need by providing safe and supportive transport to and from the hospice.

What You’ll Do:- Collect patients from their homes at a prearranged time and bring them to the hospice.
- Return patients home after day services, outpatient appointments, or discharge from the ward.
- Ensure patients gain safe entry to their homes.
- Refer any medical, social, or personal concerns expressed by patients to hospice staff.
- Assist with other related tasks when needed.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to deal sensitively with patients and visitors.
- Reliability, responsibility, and a caring nature.
- A good knowledge of the local area.
- An understanding of confidentiality and the needs of those affected by end-of-life care.
