Housekeeper/Domestic Assistant- 30 Hours per week Located Fareham, near the town centre PO16 Beautiful Residential Care Home £9.00 per hour pay rate Previous Housekeeping/Domestic experience essential Health & Safety/ COSHH/Infection Control Awareness essential Permanent position About the home: This is a Super opportunity for you to join a beautiful Care Home as a Housekeeper/Domestic Assistant. The Care Home offers luxury hotel style facilities, based conveniently close to Fareham Town Centre, Hampshire, PO16. About the role: As the Housekeeper/Domestic Assistant you will be joining a highly committed team, this is a key position and you will put the residents care and wellbeing at the heart of everything that you do. The home prides itself on its high standards, and its warmth and friendliness supporting the residents and their families. Your role is crucial in ensuring that visitors, families and residents receive a positive impression of the Care Home, by keeping the rooms and common areas spotless and carrying out checks to keep the home cheerful, caring and compassionate. You must be capable of making responsible decisions and acting in the resident?s best interests. You will also possess good verbal and written communication skills. You will have ideally worked in a Care Home previously as a Housekeeper/Domestic, or a Hospital, Hotel or School environment, where you have a strong understanding of health & safety, COSHH and Infection Control.
