Safety and Environmental Engineer - Defence Engineering As the Safety and Environmental Engineer, you will be supporting a team of talented technical specialists to ensure risks are considered during the design and development of complex defence systems. Main responsibilities of the Safety Engineer are: * Advise on safety and environmental matters. * Manage studies and assessments, such as Environmental Cases and Management Plans. * Support Product Environmental audits and review and update Environment Hazard Logs. * Recommend improvements, whilst assessing the implications of changes to legislative standards. Key Criteria of the Safety Engineer: * University Degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant Environmental or STEM subject. * Knowledge of industry safety and environmental standards. * Experience in safety and environmental engineering activities in safety critical industries.
