An excellent opportunity for an experienced Audio Service Engineer to join a well-established company. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Salary:£28,250 - £34,000 Per Annum, DOE + Performance Based Bonus. Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. About The Company: The Company are a leading provider of professional audio repair and maintenance in the UK. They are the exclusive UK repair centre for high quality professional audio equipmentincluding RCF Spa, Nexo SA and EAW . They are currently seeking a skilled Audio Service Engineer to join their technical team in Potters Bar. This is a critical role requiring a mix of traditional electronics expertise and modern networking knowledge. Additional training will be provided where necessary.Key Responsibilities: Troubleshooting&Repair: Diagnose and repair a diverse range of professional audio equipment, including mixers, amplifiers, microphones, audio networking products and speakers Component-Level Work: Perform precision soldering and re-work on through hole and SMD boards (SOT-23, 1206, SOIC, and smaller) Technical Support: Provide high-level technical assistance to customers via phone and emailQuality Control: Maintain rigorous standards of accuracy and efficiency for all repairs Technology Updates: Stay current with evolving audio technologies and manufacturer-specific software Candidate Requirements: Electronics Expertise: Strong practical understanding of circuit diagrams and electronic componentsSoldering Proficiency: Proven experience with fine-pitch SMD soldering and rework Software&Networking: Strong proficiency in MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
