Senior Design Engineer (Civil/Geotechnical) Preston £50,000 ? £60,000 + Package + Progression + CPD An expanding specialist construction equipment manufacturer is looking for a senior civil / geotechnical design engineer to take the lead on delivering projects for some of the biggest construction programmes in western Europe. On offer is a key, autonomous client facing role where you will liaise with a range of influential tier 1 contractors and influential consultancies, working on an innovative product range which push the boundaries of what was thought possible in the industry. The company have an excellent and reputation, recognized as innovators in their field. They are a multi award winning manufacturer with ongoing specialist ground engineering projects, they have been awarded new scopes of work and as such the company is now in a phase of expansion. In this role, you play a key role in delivering innovative ground engineering projects. Your commercial acumen and technical expertise within ground engineering will be put to use in diverse situations, ranging from approving designs to client visits to presenting and offering design submissions in the tender process. The ideal applicant will have a background in civil engineering and leading technical teams and looking to join an innovative expanding industry leader. The Role: *Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer *Advise clients in design methods and help develop relationships with key clients. *Co-ordinate a team to prepare and produce design submissions, tenders and application suggestions *Promote and deliver presentations around the products. *£50,000 ? £60,000 + Package + Progression + CPD The Person: *Experienced geotechnical / civil engineer *Engineering degree / HND and experience in infrastructure projects *Experience Leading teams and working in a customer/client facing positions. *Experience using AutoCAD Geotechnical engineer, cad, survey, ground, ground investigation, site, infrastructure, soil, retaining wall, highways, train, rail, high speed rail, metro, rock, sampling, capex, tunnelling, site investigation, consultancy, design and build, construction, engineering, Piling, Anchor, Earthworks, capital projects, construction, civil, structural, chartered, Bsc, Msc, CEng, Ice, Istructe, engineer, built environment, flood risk, drainage, groundworks
