Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering & Telecoms contractor * Are you based near Reading? * Do you have experience within Utilities? * Would you like to work on a newly awarded contract? If so this could be the job for you... A respected Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor is looking for 2 x Quantity Surveyors to join their team to work on a newly awarded Telecoms contract covering the M4 corridor. This is currently in the very early stages and will enable the successful QS to be involved with the scheme from the early stages with progression available throughout with good performance. Responsibilities will include: * Management & monitorting of commercial aspects of the contract; * Mentoring and management of Assistant QS's/Commercial Admins; * Building relationships with clients and other key stakeholders; * Managing opportunities and risks * Weekly & monthly cost value reconciliations; * Assisting with valuations, and subcontractor management. They are able to offer an excellent salary & package (dependent on experience) for this role as well as opportunities for further progression within the company. Essential: * Degree qualified or equivalent * Experience within Utilities or Civil Engineering
