Do you have experience of servicing and maintaining Laboratory Equipment such as Fume Hoods, Biosafety Cabinets?  If the answer is yes, then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to join a global leader in their industry.  The Company Perpetual Partnerships are supporting a global engineering business who design and build specialist equipment for the Pharmaceutical and Medical industries.  This company have a significant market share in the USA and Asia and is now heavily investing in growing their UK presence. The business has seen significant growth year on year and they are now looking for an ambitious individual to join their service and commissioning team to support the development of their client offering.  The Opportunity  As a Field Service Engineer, this person will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and commissioning of the companies equipment (Fume Hoods, Biosafety Cabinets) in hospitals, biotechnology, pharmaceutical environments and universities. Working across a variety of diverse locations this person will ensure that the products and systems work properly and meet the client?s needs on a day to day basis.  Day to day you will be expected to: Schedule and coordinate your own diary, working to tight deadlines Ensure equipment works to its specification on site Creating and carrying out test procedures Investigate problems and diagnose and repair faults Complete required site visit documentation, including writing reports, modifications and other documentation as required Developing and maintaining good working relationships with relevant teams and external customers The Person  To be considered for this position you will need: Previous field service experience with Laboratory Equipment a minimum of 12 months experience. A flexible attitude to travel - This a home-based position and you will need to based within 1 hour of Reading to be considered Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be meeting customer daily Good IT and analytical skills for reporting and tracking progress Nb.
