Building Maintenance Technician, Reading

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician (Mechanically/ HVAC Bias) Location: Reading, Berkshire Start Date: ASAP Type: Contract: Possibility of the role going permanent. Rate: £18/19ph Pay: Weekly whilst temping My client is looking for an experienced, motivated, Mechanically bias maintenance technician for a key office site in Reading, Berkshire. This will be working alongside the current maintenance team to maintain the building facilities and ensure legal compliance. Working in a similar role is essential as the contract is live and you will be expected to hit the ground running. This role includes building and plant maintenance within the facilities team. Main Duties: Mechanical Plant Maintenance To plan, inspect and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance as required and to respond to breakdowns in a timely fashion. Duties include statutory inspection of assets from Emergency Lighting, Water Temperature checks, HVAC Maintenance, Fire Door inspection, Plumbing repairs, Lighting checks and other minor reactive works. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and in line with Health & Safety legislation. Minimum Qualification: Mechanically qualified to C&G Level 2
