Compensation: £11.25 - £12.75 / hour

• Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club at The Heights, Caversham RG4
• Help set up, organise and deliver a range of activities daily and pro-actively encourage children to participate
• Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of 'snack time'
• Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary)
• Develop strong relationships with all children at the After School Club ensuring every child has as much FUN at the club as possible
• Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding
• Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day

• You will have a passion / interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting
• Have a fun and energetic nature
• Be reliable and able to effectively communicate with colleagues and children alikeBe able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years

• Full training and inductions will be provided to all After School Club Assistants

This role would suit somebody with experience of working in a Primary School, Pre‑School or Nursery, e.g. a Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator or Nursery Assistant, or someone looking to move into the childcare industry.
