The Role

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will play akey rolein supporting pupils'academic progress,confidence, andindependence, preparing them for the next stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and deliveringengaging,creative, anddifferentiated lessonsin line with theKS2 national curriculum
• Supporting progress incore subjects(reading, writing, and maths) with a focus onprogressionandmastery
• Creating apositive,inclusive, andstimulating learning environment
• Monitoring and assessingpupil progress, usingdata-driven insightsto inform planning andtargeted interventions
• Supporting pupils ofvarying abilities, including those withSEN
• Promotingresilience,independence, andcritical thinking skills
• Buildingstrong relationshipswith parents, carers, and colleagues
• Workingcollaborativelywith teaching assistants and the wider school team

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- Desirable
• Experience teaching withinKey Stage 2
• Strong understandingof the KS2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom managementandorganisational skills
• Acreative,engaging, andstructured teaching style
• Strong communicationandteamwork skills
• Ability to workfull-timein the Twyford (RG10) area from September

Desirable

• Experience teaching inUpper or Lower KS2
• Understanding ofSATs preparationandassessment frameworks
• Experience supporting pupils withadditional needs (SEN)
• Knowledge ofpupil progress trackinganddata analysis
• Commitment tocontinuous professional development
