This role would suit anengagingandcreative teacherwith astrong understandingof the Key Stage 1 curriculum, who is committed tofostering a love of learningand supporting pupils'academic and social development.

The Role

As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will play avital rolein supporting pupils through akey stagein their learning journey, helping to buildstrong foundationsin literacy, numeracy, and social development.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and deliveringengaging,creative, anddifferentiated lessonsin line with theKS1 national curriculum
• Supporting pupils'progress inphonics,early reading,writing, andmaths
• Creating apositive,inclusive, andstimulating classroom environment
• Monitoring and assessingpupil progress, usingdata-driven teachingandtargeted interventions
• Supporting pupils ofvarying abilities, including those withSEN
• Promotingconfidence,independence, andsocial skills
• Buildingstrong relationshipswith parents, carers, and colleagues
• Workingcollaborativelywith teaching assistants and the wider school team

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- Desirable
• Experience withinEarly YearsorKey Stage 1
• Strong understandingof the KS1 curriculum andphonics frameworks(e.g., Little Wandle)
• Excellent classroom managementandorganisational skills
• Acreative,nurturing, andengaging teaching style
• Strong communicationandteamwork skills
• Ability to workfull-timein the Henley (RG) area from September

Desirable

• Experience teachingYear 1 or Year 2
• Expertise inphonics deliveryandearly reading development
• Experience preparing pupils forYear 2 assessments
• Experience supporting children withSEN
• Knowledge ofassessmentandprogress tracking
