Position Overview:

My client seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Family Law Solicitor to join our thriving team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of demonstrable experience in family law, with a proven track record of successfully handling complex cases. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious solicitor to contribute to the growth and success of our family law practice.

Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Manage a varied and complex caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and domestic violence cases.
• Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice to clients, guiding them through the legal process, and ensuring their interests are represented effectively.
• Court Representation: Represent clients in family court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and legal acumen.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering personalised legal services, understanding their needs, and providing clear communication throughout the legal process.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the legal team, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective client service.
• Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the family law practice through business development initiatives, networking, and fostering relationships within the legal community.
• Legal Research: Stay informed about changes in family law, precedents, and legislation, and apply this knowledge to enhance the quality of legal services provided.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor: Admitted to the Roll with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in family law.
• Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in handling a diverse range of family law cases, showcasing a deep understanding of relevant legal principles and procedures.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Client-Centric Approach: A commitment to providing exceptional client service, understanding client needs, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
• Business Acumen: Ability and interest in contributing to the business development activities of the firm, including client acquisition and retention.
