Senior Systems Engineer

Glasgow - Hybrid Module

Main Responsibilities:

You will be able to work autonomously to contribute towards the systems engineering design activities throughout the engineering project involving:

• Define system requirements and interfaces.
• Document design and functional behaviour.
• Develop and execute verification tests.
• Collect evidence of requirements fulfilment.
• Peer review technical work.
• Share knowledge with the engineering team.

Ideal Experience&Skills:

• Proactive and skilled at constructively challenging ideas and concepts.
• Experienced in working within multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Competent in defining system interfaces, boundaries, and external impact factors.
• Proficient in requirements engineering, including elicitation, decomposition, and analysis.
• Able to analyze system operational concepts.

It would be beneficial if the candidate also has:

• Experience of the decomposition of a systems design to sub-system level Experience or knowledge of systems modelling techniques
• Experience of analysing potential solutions against the key needs in a design brief
• Experience of using design analysis techniques (trade-off analysis, calculations, modelling and simulation, etc.)
