Senior Electrical Controls Engineer, Rotherham

Our global engineering client is seeking a SENIOR ELECTRICAL CONTROLS ENGINEER to be involved with projects from cradle to grave. Role Outlined: You will be involved with the design, build, progress, test, installation and commissioning of automated equipment and machinery. The right candidate must have previous experience within industrial turn-key environments and be able to design and write PLC's such as Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi. You will be heavily involved in each project stage of the machinery builds. Day-Day Duties: To design electrical systems for one off machine's complying to strict standards Programme PLC's for one off machine designs this includes; Programmable Logic Control, Allen Bradly, Siemens TIA Portal S7-300, S7-1200 S7-1500 and Mitsubishi Programme HMI's (Human Machine Interface, Proface, Siemens SIMATIC-WinCC, Mitsubishi, RedLion etc Oversee Installations onsite and involved with the commissioning of machines after installation Liaise with customers engineering departments after I&C if any issues arise. Produce Bills of Materials (BOM's) for electrical design Order components and generating all necessary documentationQualifications: HNC/ HND in Electrical Controls would be desirable Previous experience in key turn-key projects and environments Involved with cradle to grave engineering projectsPlease note that we can only consider applicants who can program PLC's.
