Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Rotherham

7-Month fixed term contract Maintenance Engineer Opportunity: Brewster Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer for a 7-month FTC basis, to ensure 'continuous production' to required world-class quality standard, whilst maintaining a safe working environment. You will be working on a rotating shift pattern which will consist of; 12-hour shifts (6-6) on a 4-weekly rotating basis (which includes days, nights and some weekend shifts) - equating to 14 days off each 28-day cycle, including 7 days off in a row once every four weeks Duties will include: Planned plant maintenance to ensure continuous production Reactive plant maintenance to ensure continuous production Planned facilities maintenance to ensure continuous production Reactive facilities maintenance to ensure continuous production Planned construction engineering to ensure continuous production Works in other departments and alternative roles if required to achieve output Skills and experience required: Self-motivated with a can-do attitude Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. Maintenance, Electrical Installations, Electronic Servicing, Health and Safety) Experience of fault finding and repairs, working at heights, inspection and testing, installation and maintenance, production engineering Work independently in a busy, active environment and collaborates well with others Support the production team, being flexible and adaptable when needed Take health and safety seriously Ability to identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety and/or operational efficiency and effectivenessBrewster Partners Engineering is a division of the Brewster Partners Recruitment Group focusing on the recruitment of talent in engineering, technical and operations jobs in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and the Midlands.
