Legal Counsel (Commercial)

Retail

Yorkshire

Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a Retail organisation based in Yorkshire with a Legal Counsel position permanently.

As the Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for:

Undertaking a range of commercial contracts with a focus on B2C contracts, IT Contracts (SAAS), NDAs, standard terms, and manufacturing agreements.
Assisting the procurement team with queries and contract terms and termination.
Assisting with drafting and implementing policies and procedures and ensuring contracts are kept up to date, streamlining processes where required.
Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements for the business.
Assisting with consumer claims as and when required.
Handling Data Protection matters.

As the Legal Counsel, you will have:

Experience working within the Retail sector or for retail clients in private practice; experience working with IT Contracts and consumer law would also be advantageous in an in-house setting.
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across the Group and have an ambition for growth within the group.
An interest in AI or experience working with AI would also be advantageous.
