SmartDrainUK is looking for an Experienced Water Mains Engineer in the Midlands Area.

The company is rapidly expanding with vans both in the Midlands and London areas as a result of its outstanding reputation with new and existing clients. We provide a national service for drainage, water and subsidence. The team deliver high levels of customer service and ensure works are completed to ensure customer satisfaction. Job Description: -

The role involves carrying out repairs, renewals and installations of domestic and commercial water supply pipes, diagnosing leaks, and delivering high-quality workmanship on site. You will be working independently and as part of a team, attending planned and reactive jobs for insurers, homeowners, and commercial clients.

Salary:-

30,000 – 38,000 depending on experience plus company pension and voluntary weekend overtime.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

§ Use leak detection equipment, CAT and Genny, Pipe Locators

§ Locate, excavate and repair leaking or damaged water supply pipes

§ Carry out groundworks including excavation, backfilling and reinstatement (tarmac, concrete, block paving, gravel)

§ Complete site assessments, job sheets and customer reports accurately

§ Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with water regulations and company procedures

§ Communicate professionally with customers and technical support staff

Qualifications: -

§ EUSR Water Hygiene/National Water Hygiene Card

§ EUSR SHEA

§ NCO Water Level 2 (Service Pipe Repair and Renewal)

§ Street works (NRSWA) Operative

§ Leak Detection Training/Experience

Requirements: -

§ Full UK Driving License (Essential)

§ Flexible with travel as regular travel to the Midlands and surrounding areas will be required.

§ CRB Check

§ Previous experience as water mains engineer/leak detection engineer

§ Competence in external water pipe repairs, moling,pipe bursting or trenchless installation

§ Ability to work independently on domestic and commercial properties.
