Mig Welder, Hixon

We are currently recruiting MIG Welders to join our client, a UK leading provider of sheet metal engineering and fabrication services located inHixon, ST18 Staffordshire. These roles are long-term opportunities. Immediate start dates are available.

• Weld tests available immediately
• 2 shift options are available, it is your choice.

MIG Welder key job details:

• 14:30-23:00, Monday to Friday (noons)
• OR
• 06:00 to 18:00, 4on4off (Continental day shift)
• Pay rates:Noons:15.36ph,Conti days:16.23ph
• Weekly pay and overtime paid at a premium
• 06:00-14:30 M-F is currently filled, but if you want this shift specifically please still apply and advise accordingly.

MIG Welder key responsibilities:

• MIG welding various materials, predominantly mild steel
• Jig work
• Basic fabrication duties
• Bulk of work is on 1mm to 4mm, but can range up to 20mm
• Comply with health and safety regulations

MIG Welder person specification:

• Previous welding experience is essential
• Must be able to correctly set-up own welding machine for the various works required
• Good English (reading / verbal) is required
• Comfortable working on your feet in a fast paced environment
• Own transport is essential
