The Opportunity
An opportunity has become available to join a global leader in the Pharmaceutical sector as a Production Planner. This role will sit in a close-knit team and will play a pivotal role in coordinating production activities and supporting the delivery of critical products to customers.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

- Develop and continuously adjust daily production schedules in line with available capacity and operational priorities
- Coordinate workflow and sequencing of manufacturing activities to ensure customer demand and delivery timelines are met
- Monitor stock levels and trigger actions to maintain availability of key materials and finished goods
- Track production performance against plan, escalating risks and resolving scheduling conflicts as they arise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, attending daily meetings and communicating updates to stakeholders

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

- Previous experience in a production planning or scheduling role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data such as bills of materials and production requirements
- Ability to use MS Excel to a high level
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, quality and commercial teams
- A structured and proactive approach, with the flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities

It’s great if you also have the following

- SAP Experience
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical sector
