What You Will Do

• Provideday-to-day leadership, management, and professional supervisionto the team, including Social Workers and Personal Advisors.
• Ensurehigh standards of practiceand compliance with statutory guidance and legislation.
• Overseecaseload allocation and workload management, using performance data, audits, and feedback to drive service improvement.
• Ensure Halton Borough Council meets its duties under theChildren (Leaving Care) Act 2000and other relevant legislation.
• Maintainquality assuranceof pathway plans, assessments, and reports, and lead oncomplex case management.
• Establish and maintainrobust safeguarding practices, including oversight of high-risk cases.
• Develop and strengthenpartnership workingwith housing, education, training providers, and partner agencies.
• Manageteam budgets, performance indicators, and ensure statutory timescales are consistently met.
