HGV Mechanic, Clock Face

Monday - Friday 8.15am - 4.45pm Weekly pay anything over 40hrs PW paid at£25.50 per hour Weekend overtime optional Working hours / days can be flexible upon request *Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Hgv Vehicles and trailers.* Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet of HGVs and Trailers to industry standards * Trailer technicians considered * Carry out Inspections and repairs within the our yard when required using Company van * We carry out lots of lifting deck trailer repairs and maintenance coming from that background would be ideal but not essential* Conduct inspections and routine maintenance in line with schedules * Investigate, diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues * Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT * Complete all required documentation accurately on company application * Attend breakdowns company van * Overtime available Hourly Rate to be agreed*What We’re Looking For:* * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in HGV Repair and Maintenance * Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience ( Negotiable ) * Experience of working on Trailers * Van driving experience required * UK CE (Class 1) Driving Licence ( Preferred ) * Team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment* Flexibility in the work environment * IRTEC qualification desirable Job Type: Full-time Pay: From£39,520.00 per year Work Location: In person
