Year 1 Supply Teacher – St Neots (Local Schools), St. Neots

Teach Agency are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Year 1 Supply Teacher to work in local Primary Schools in St Neots and surrounding villages.

This role is ideal for teachers living locally who are looking for flexible day-to-day supply or long-term placements close to home. We work closely with a number of welcoming and supportive schools throughout Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be confident in delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 / Year 1 curriculum, maintaining positive behaviour management, and adapting quickly to different school environments.

• Deliver pre-planned Year 1 lessons or follow short-term planning as required.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Follow school policies, routines, and behaviour expectations.
• Provide clear handover feedback to school staff at the end of each day.

• Secure understanding of the Year 1 / KS1 curriculum.
• Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and professional approach.

• Hold a degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have an up-to-date CV.
• Be entitled to work in the UK.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
