2nd line support, Sale

Job title: 2nd line support Salary: up to £25,000 Location: Sale My client is a driven and successful company who is looking for a 2nd line support to join their team. This role requires someone who is process orientated, effective and has the ability to build rapport with their clients. They are a great company who are willing to invest time in their staff to be successful, they are looking for someone who is passionate about IT and is looking for a long-term role. Technical skills: * 2nd line support, provide an escalation point for 1st line colleagues * Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems incl. 7, 8 and 10 * Server OS 2003, 2008, 2012 * Active Directory * MS Exchange * Group Policy * Citrix * VM Ware * Any qualification: in the Microsoft suite of products / ITIL / CISCO would be preferable although not essential Duties: * Log all incidents and requests * Keep customers informed at all times * Provide support and training to 1st line colleagues * Keep up with the latest technology * Liaise with internal/ external staff Person specification: * Team player * Keen to learn * Confident communicating over the phone
