I Care, You Care, We Care, New Care! Our stunning care home Ashlands Manor Care Centre is purpose built care home facility in Sale, South Manchester. The home is registered to provide care to 57 residents who have a variety of care needs including residential, nursing and dementia residential. The home opened its doors in May 2017 and is rated GOOD in all domains by CQC, EHO 5* and rated 9.8 by our residents and relatives on (url removed). We provide the highest standards of safety, comfort and care to residents. We have full occupancy, we are in a great location and have a very good local reputation. Ashlands is also fully staffed and has 0 agency usage. Due to our current Manager being promoted within New Care, we have an amazing and exciting opportunity that has arisen were we are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Home Manager, who will efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the care home, allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality care to residents. As the Home Manager you will directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for a team of staff dedicated to delivering exceptional care. We are looking for a Manager who shares our New Care vision and values. This is a full time post with an excellent salary starting at £55k per annum (negotiable for the right candidate) with fabulous company benefits. Role Responsibilities: ·To ensure that the company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff within the care home. ·To take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the care home. ·Manage the safety, quality and financial aspects of the care home ·Ensure that the care home team provide high quality and person centred care and support to residents and their families. ·Build relationships with both internal & external key stakeholders. ·To demonstrate leadership of the staff team and act as a positive role model, by a high level of personal visibility within all communities in the home. ·Promote the care home in the wider community both locally and nationally. ·To ensure compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008. ·Any other duties commensurate with grade. Skills and experience required: ·Registered Nurse qualification. ·Minimum of 5 year?s management experience in the care industry. ·Broad experience of managing people, service and quality to achieve performance targets. ·Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative. ·Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships ·Good team worker This position is subject to a DBS check
