One of my best clients if looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team in Salford on a permanent basis. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will have strong experience installing and/or supporting multiple of the following technologies and vendors: Cisco routing, switching and firewalling, Meraki suite of products, Palo Alto and WatchGuard. Key Skills Required of the Senior Network Engineer: Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS) Cisco Nexus Switches (NX-OS) HP switches Network Protocols & Architecture ? DHCP/DNS/STP/VLAN/WAN/LAN Firewalls ? Cisco ASA/WatchGuard/Palo Alto/Meraki Desirable Skills Required of the Senior Network Engineer: Awareness of cyber security and mitigation of threats. Ability to assess security alerts/alarms and carry out remedial action of apparent security breaches.
