Safeguarding and Single Assessment Social Worker, Sandwell

SAAT Social Workers West Midlands £29.93 3 month contract initially We have a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated qualified Social Worker to join a friendly and thriving Safeguarding and Single Assessment team in Sandwell. You will be working within a fast-paced environment, as the first point of contact from referral for vulnerable children, young people and their families. Following referral, you will be responsible for establishing the service user's level of need, and the appropriate assessment to be actioned. You will undertake assessments in conjunction with the service user, their parents or carers and other agencies, in order to determine the most appropriate action from this initial point. For this role you will be required to have at least 2 years post qualifying experience within a child protection setting. It would also be desirable for you to have previous experience working within a similar team.
