Title Housing Support Officer

Contract Length - 6 months

Rate 19-22 Umbrella

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide housing-related support to service users
  • Support clients to maintain and sustain tenancies
  • Carry out risk assessments and support planning
  • Liaise with external agencies, local authorities, and support services
  • Assist clients with budgeting, benefits, and independent living skills
  • Manage caseloads and maintain accurate case notes
  • Respond appropriately to safeguarding and welfare concerns
  • Conduct property visits and welfare checks where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within housing support, supported housing, homelessness, or tenancy services
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and vulnerable adults
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage challenging situations professionally
  • Enhanced DBS preferred or willingness to obtain one
  • Full UK driving licence beneficial but not essential
