We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive Catholic primary school in Edgbaston seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team. The Role

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1, ensuring all pupils are supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress.
Adapting learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
Contributing to the wider school community.

While applicants do not need to be practising Catholics, the successful candidate must be comfortable supporting and upholding the Catholic ethos and values of the school. This includes participating in assemblies, celebrations, and other aspects of school life that reflect the school's faith-based identity. The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
Strong knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills.
A passion for helping children develop and succeed.
Strong communication and organisational abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
A willingness to support and promote the Catholic ethos of the school.
