CDM Principal Designer – Midlands or London | £50,000-£65,000

• Real ownership: lead CDM compliance across the practice's pipeline.

We're recruiting for an experienced CDM Principal Designer to join a long-established UK architectural practice. You'd be based in one of three offices (Leicester, Birmingham or London), with hybrid flexibility, leading on health and safety compliance across a steady pipeline of projects.

The work cuts across a broad sector mix: industrial, commercial, healthcare, education, residential, retail and mixed-use, and others. So no shortage of variety.

You'd act as Principal Designer under CDM 2015, planning and coordinating health and safety through the pre-construction phase, managing design risk, and advising clients on their statutory duties.

You'll be a good fit for the CDM Principal Designer role if you:

• Have previous experience in CDM, health and safety, or design within construction.
• Hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
• Know the CDM 2015 Regulations inside out.
• Are confident challenging design decisions to drive safer outcomes.
• Ideally hold APS or IOSH membership (or are working towards it).
