Quantity Surveyor - Rail & Civil Engineering, Sheffield

PSR Solutions is working in partnership with a specialist infrastructure contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor from their office in Yorkshire. Working with a very well established contractor; you will benefit from working as part of an established commercial team; focusing on NEC forms of contract on infrastructure projects between Yorkshire and the Midlands. You will have opportunities to progress your commercial career in a constantly growing contractor. Projects can typically include infrastructure upgrades, structural refurbishment and ancillary civils packages ranging from £300k - £6m in value. Requirements of the role: Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a civil Engineering or Rail Contractor Sector knowledge of the Rail industry is preferred Adequate experience working with NEC forms of contracts Experience of National Schedule of Rates (NSA) Experience of the commercial management of construction or infrastructure schemes. Preferably with values ranging from £50k - £5m in value. Outstanding commercial awareness.
